You get your 4(or 5) years and then you are done... You give it everything you got during that time. There are 100's of things that can get in your way for those years and EGO is one of them.

They are not being held hostage... if they don't want to play, find somebody else who does.

COVID safety is the only thing in there demands that is a concern. However, even the FCS teams seem to be doing a good job keeping their players safe. If somebody doesn't feel comfortable playing... don't play.
