I was in HS at Provo High. It was either late ‘84 or early ‘85. Back then BYU used to host quite a few concerts, big ones at the Marriott center but also others at smaller venues on campus.

Anyway Allan Holdsworth somehow got booked/invited to perform at BYU and I went with some of my buddies who were all into music.

I can tell you he was probably the best guitarist I ever saw live. I still am a little bit surprised he played at BYU but never the les he did.

Anyone else on here happen to go to that show?
