Whether you get them from a good breeder or a bad one, you’re still purchasing it. Adoption or rescue really should be left for dogs that had previous homes or who were strays or whatnot who are in need of a new home. Most rescues/adoptions are adult dogs, or some cases puppies who were abandoned or saved from some other situation.
