Medical equipment post surgery
My wife had a simple surgery on her ankle a month back. The surgery was on a Friday. She got a call from the office later that day saying they needed to mail her a device that she would wear on her ankle that would help prevent blood clots.

The rub is she was supposed to use it immediately following surgery but it delivered on the Monday following. She used it once.

$3600 billed to insurance which is more than the surgeon billed (but significantly less than lone peak hospital which billed $21k for 4 hours in their facility which is a story for another day).

We had met our deductible but it ticks me off they can lackadaisically send us something 3 days late then have the gall to bill is $3600 for it. I would like to tell my insurance to not pay it but would rather this company that provided it not come after is. Any advice CB (from those that made it this far..)?
