Last night, McMurphy reported that, according to his sources, the NCAA would not support the championships but instead give that opportunity to the respective divisions.

The NCAA has not made a declaration yet, but it appears that McMurphy’s sources are correct. Without the NCAA’s financial support, Division III did not have the wherewithal to pull it off.
