I left meatballs out not wanting to complicate the option.

I saw a thing where people were serving Spaghetti but they premixed it in the pot. My initial reaction was that it was weird... But then I realized the only reason I find it so strange is because I grew up with it different. There isn't really any benefit to one over the other I can point to, other than tradition.

That made me curious about how others serve it... And maybe if there was any compelling arguments one way or the other.

I didn't think meatballs would do anything other than potentially confuse or muddy the answers.
