Seems weird to say, “football players can play football, but you can’t take the Sacrament.”
Even though I’m okay with it and think those two things are different, I’m worried the church will bend because of how it appears.
For example, I’ve never seen anything wrong with BYU playing football or men’s basketball games on Sunday on rare occasions like post season tournaments, but I suspect the church doesn’t like how it is perceived
