I agree that the shot distribution has skewed dramatically towards

3's and dunks as you mention, but I think that raising the rim would just further increase the amount of 3's being shot. I honestly don't know what the answer is to reduce the swing, but I don't think that raising the rim would help solve the issue and could make it worse.

The only way to change this is to get rid of the corner 3 and make the 3 point
