After working in M&A at my firm I got an offer to work in NYC but their
stipulation was that I had to live in Manhattan. Never got past that. They had no idea that I had four kids. Affording an apartment there you have to make a ton of money. Most of those that I knew, didn't actually have house payments, they took their big annual bonuses and just bought a place outright. That was the end of me living in NYC
