brisket. I've had brisket at LA BBQ and Franklin in Austin....Black's and Kreuz in Lockhart, hard 8, pecan lodge, Bam Bam's, etc...
I just don't love it. I'd rather have smoked pig, turkey, sausage, etc.
I like my cow meat in the ribeye/filet form, cooked medium rare with course salt. I'll take that a million times over brisket. Is it as simple as I think a great prime steak is that much better?
What am I missing?
