He actually had several lingering injuries

Somewhat major. Fans just don’t know since he played through some of them. At one point he couldn’t lift his arm above his head and could only bench 100 pounds, and I think that was after his shoulder surgery and rehab. His injury history certainly effected his production.

Wish I could find the interview on 960 he did a year or so back where he detailed the extent of his injuries. Had no idea.
