In the post she initially said that he said everything was up to code (I doubt that it is with that gap between

the handrail and the stairs) and there wasn't anything he could do differently. I went back to let her know that the she should check the joists like Jonboy recommended above and the post was gone. I messaged her to let her know to check and she told me that she took the post down because the builder called her threatening to commit suicide if she didn't. This took a dark turn.
