4) Football/basketball program management--conference affiliation, scheduling etc. MWC to Independence : B. Best option available. I don't think not getting into the Big 12 was Holmoe's fault. I think it was the Big 12's fault and hyper sensitivity at the time to LGBT issues, Sunday play distant 2nd, distance, distant 3rd. Football scheduling: A Basketball: B+

5) Olympic Sports: A. It could be argued this has been a golden era for olympic sports, with a national championship in men's CC and great finishes over the last 15 years in many of the other sports.

6) Crisis management--not sure this would have been on here before this year, but have to give Tom a solid A- to keep the Cougars playing with the whole schedule falling apart.



If you give football coach hiring a weight of 10, basketball a 9, and the others about a 5, I think Homoe's overall grade is about a B.
