Sure, they used original stones that had toppled for teh most part and simply mortared and cemented them back into place as best they could, but there was an area where hundreds and thousands of stones were just thrown to the side because they either didn't have the money, time, resources, or perhaps knowledge of where those stones went.

Made me think that the whole place was a little contrived and perhaps even rebuilt because everything had probably fallen over.
