Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure still holds up.
I watched it again last night. Yes it's a little dated; it's obvious it was made in the late 80's. But it's still a funny, charming movie not to mention a lot of fun. Also impressive that it's a pretty good comedy and yet there's hardly any crude humor or jokes. There's something refreshing about Bill and Ted's innocence and naivete in the film.

I'm a history buff so I really got a kick out of them traveling back in time and kidnapping all these important historical figures and watching them respond to modern life in Southern California circa 1989.

It's also kinda interesting how that movie launched Keanu Reeves' career but it didn't do a thing for Alex Winter. Reeves has thrived and Winter's career has floundered. I wonder why that happened.
