Back in 2004 Ewan McGregor and his BFF Charley Boorman got the idea to take a motorcycle ride around the world (Starting in England, then heading east until they hit NY) The result was "The Long Way Round". In 2007 they did 'The Long Way Down' (starting in scottland and ending in Cape Town South Affrica).

If you have never seen those shows I highly recommend them... they are now also on Apple TV (trailers also posted below).

After his friend Charley Boorman was in the hospital in 2018 McGregor decides they need to re-connect... and 'The Long Way Up' was planned. This time riding from the tip of Argentina to LA. 13,000miles in 100 days... but this time they are riding early production Harley-Davidson electric bikes, and the support trucks are the first 2 Rivian trucks produced (serial numbers 0001 and 0002).
