Ok, I’ve had a lot of fun with the “Boise has a great winter/ Utah is a frozen tundra” crowd but let’s put this to bed..
* Boise by most standards does have a reasonable winter. I don’t think anyone is disputing that but for the number of times we’ve seen a delusional post tell the board about how great Boise’s winter is in comparison to Ogden/SLC/Provo area — it seems like it’s time to present some facts for the oddballs who insist Boise is a balmy winter paradise.
When it comes to the touting of Boise’s great winters, I’m not sure I’ve seen a people so proud of something so average and not worthy of praise.
Notice that SLC actually has a higher average low temperature during the winter months?
