Question for piano players. I'm learning piano chords. I don't read notes.
I have learned a lot of piano chords and have enjoyed playing piano that way. I play the chord with my right hand while hitting the note an octave lower with the pointer finger of my left hand. For example, I play the C chord with my right hand and play the C note an octave lower with my left hand. It sounds good to me, but it feels weird only hitting one note with my left hand.

Is there more I can do with my left hand to add to the sound and have it still sound good? I tried doing the chord with my left hand and right hand at the same time an octave lower but that just sounds weird.

I also tried playing two octaves of the note with my left hand but it added too much bass.
