17. BYU has now housed its first two opponents, Navy (55-3) and Troy (48-7), and it’s probably time to start talking to the kids about BYU going undefeated. However, the Cougars only have six games left on their schedule, none of them particularly noteworthy, which will make it hard for them to move up the rankings.
But the Mountain West is coming back, and its commissioner Craig Thompson dropped a juicy hint hint Friday that BYU may now get back its Boise State game, originally scheduled for Nov. 6. Fingers crossed. That would be a great opportunity for both teams.
