Last year, I took my grandson to his first day in third grade. A poster on the

classroom door read, "Welcome to Mrs. Watsons Third' Grade Class!" I found a moment to introduce myself to Mrs. Watson and then said, "By the way, the poster on your door has a typo. The apostrophe is used incorrectly." Mrs. Watson carefully looked at the poster, profusely apologized, and vowed to correct it. The next day, the "corrected" poster read, "Welcome to Mrs.' Watsons Third Grade Class!"
