Last season, the Eagles lost so many receivers and tight ends that they went nuts in the offseason to prevent that from happening again.
Last week, they ended the game with those same no-name guys from late in 2019 out there on the field again.
They had Arcega-Whiteside, Greg Ward, and Deontay Burnett out there again last week finishing the game. At least Ertz isn't hurt yet.
Returning players who are out with injury:
Alshon Jeffery
DeSean Jackson
Dallas Goedert
New acquisitions who are out with injury or whatever
Marquise Goodwin - decided to skip the year
Jalen Reagor 1st round pick - on IR with broken finger
Quez Watkins - 6th round pick - on IR with some sort of upper body injury
So they tried really hard and still failed to get pass catchers on the field.
Arcega-Whiteside may have something wrong with him too or maybe he just sucks too much to stay on the field. He left the game in the 4th quarter of Sunday's game and was replaced with Burnett.
Either the Eagles are just consistently unlucky, or they have a major issue in the strength and conditioning. It's the same thing every year.
