I think the real reason isn’t football related
I think the reason BYU hasn’t done that is because they have a more favorable TV deal the way they are now, and I think maybe this amount of travel East with no P5 component is a little unsavory. Plus, I think BYU legitimately likes being in the WCC for all its non football sports.
