...past the feeling that has soured many of the people that count their power and check it where they want. College football is a lot bigger than just the PAC and B1G. While people will say all the right things in public, we saw in the first poll out with all those conferences added back in that there was not a whole lot of respect being passed around like there was in the preseason. Ohio State at #6 (dropped from #1/2). Penn State and Wisconsin are the only other B1g teams that got enough votes to get ranked and only Oregon out of the PAC. That's the opinion makers that are saying, "johnny come lately doesn't get credit for absences." The SEC will play 10 conference games as well and that rankled a lot of folks at the ACC and B12. But by playing ten, I cannot see any team there running the table, or maybe even getting through with less than 2 losses. Clemson has a very favorable slate and will be in that mix. But more than two SEC / ACC TEAMS ????

Everyone saying oh the Big12 is fine, just because Texas has no defense and Oklahoma lost to a team that lost with two other opponent to Sun-belt programs, they are just fine. News flash, they aren't just fine. The Big12 has looked terrible and what do you do if you don't get a 1 loss Oklahoma or Texas, or maybe Ok State? You get 1 berth but all others are passed over. The PAC is in a not-enough games situation. It will get a birth for sure, those are guaranteed, but more than one. I think we are going to see a lot of 5-2, 4-3 and 3-4 teams in the PAC. Champion is seen on NYD, the runner up in San Diego and that's it.

I think BYU will appear so much on TV, will dominate teams so much that they will be the UCF this year. The bad news will be if a NY6 bowl decides to pit BYU vs UCF. That would suck for both teams and protect those P5 blue bloods from being exposed.
