You go down this list of key position players of the best offense in the league and most guys are home grown or guys who totally revamped disappointing careers after arriving in LA. Pretty incredible actually. Everyone wants to whine about the Dodgers, but they have an amazing org top to bottom and are great at both developing young talent and finding underutilized talent in existing players.

In this way, they differ greatly from the Yankees and others who buy up multiple big name players on an annual basis. Betts being an exception to this, but Andrew Friedman waited patiently for the right guy before shelling out the bucks. So glad to have Mookie rather than the Bryce Harpers and Manny Machados at the $300M price point.
