Realized today that in 9 years since inception, I've never seen P-12 network.
I live right in the middle of, and am surrounded by, the PAC-12 footprint (Las Vegas). I've lived here for 15 years.

Since 2011, I've had Cox Cable, Dish Network, and YTTV. In that time, I have never seen a Pac-12 network sporting event or show on any of my carriers. Not one. The main channel may have been offered as part of a trial promo at one time or another back in the older days on cable or satellite (probably never a candidate for a regional channel based on location), but I have no recollection of ever having seen the PAC-12 network listed on any of the programmed channel guides or subscription tiers I've ever had. Ever. In over 9 years. If it had been, I'm sure I would have at least checked it out to see what it was like.

I have no ideas what their studios look like, nationally or regionally. Or who their anchors are. Or what their fluffy side broadcast shows are (like "Campus Eats" on the B1G Network, for example, or the football kickoff shows on BYUTV). Or what Yewt or Trojan game day prep is like, or what their players eat for breakfast, or how exciting that #8 vs. #9 women's volleyball game was that just happened in Corvallis. (I do remember getting a couple of trials on Dish for the Longhorn Network 4 or 5 years ago and watched a couple of their shows. Meh, like watching ESPNU midnight programming, not impressed.)

Yet, I love and have spent a decade become acquainted with and getting to know most of the sports programming on BYUTV and the B1G Network. I watch programming on both multiple times a week, especially during the fall and winter seasons.

I'm sure I'm not alone. If this is my reality, what an unmitigated disaster the PAC-12 Network has been over the past decade for both programming and that conference's exposure. No wonder the PAC1-12 has become the absolute dregs of the Power 5 for sports that the public actually follows by a long shot.
