After making this post, I realized it was pretty vague (both mistakenly and intentionally) but I decided I would run with it, see what CB had to say. What ensued was some sort of mini-civil war. I never thought there would be such a divide, and true stripes were revealed. Many assumed it was a first date, which it is not. We have been out a couple of times before and have done a lot of things together. To this, some may say "well, if you've been out with her few times she should know not to schedule a date during a BYU game." Now, this is true, but I could tell it was a genuine mistake, and I like the girl. This could turn into something. Plus, maybe a little more balance in my life will be good for me. Right now when people ask me my hobbies I say "You mean besides BYU and the Jazz?" So this will be good, I can do hard things. I'll turn off my phone, enjoy the date, and then come home and proceed to watch the recording from 1-4 AM. As simple as that. Finally, I already had my mind made up well before making this post. There is not a chance in the world I would actually take the advice of a message board in which half the posters tell me to reschedule or drop the girl to "dodge a bullet" just because she forgot BYU's varying schedule (I mean they are number #14, so like I would hope, but still.) My inner George Costanza would cancel this date, so I'll do just the opposite.
