The writers don’t create their headlines, the editor does… As I understand it
I still don’t read the trib articles and don’t particularly care for Monsen, but in this case, I don’t think he can be blamed for what is being perceived as a BYU slight. That being said, I agree with the sentiment. I also think if Dick Harmon had said the same thing, or his editor, I don’t think people would be going off on him right now.
