That was a very believable rumor, yes, that Kalani asked the players what they
wanted to do. Sorry, I never got to catch up on interviews since I was at the game and was gone all day yesterday so I don't know if that has been confirmed. However, the point is our D started playing man press on the outside and blitzing--ala the BSU game last year--and we completely stymied UofH out of nowhere.
