Being the only team playing a full season (maybe) in the West, certainly ...
... didn’t hurt. I think it has earned us some capital and some respect.
Perhaps during future conference realignment, it will also merit us some additional consideration. Frankly, it makes us look like leaders, not followers. This may hurt us with the PAC12 Administrators, but help us everywhere else.
