The media's incentives are to go with the stories that get people's attention. Clemson and Alabama have been so dominant, the rest of their conferences have mostly been inconsistent (except for Georgia, Florida, and TAMU), the Big 12 has been pretty lackluster (which has been thoroughly covered) and the B1G and PAC haven't started yet. So there is a big story vacuum. Zach is doing his best Jimmer impression; it's a pretty easy call to highlight it.
