with the exception of a few specific throws that should have been interceptions (sloppy hands by opposing secondary), even his risky throws are calculated and intelligent. Even when he throws into tight coverage, he knows the defenders won't have their eyes on the ball in time to make a play, based on the routes and the chemistry he has with the receivers. The timing is just right for only his guys to make a play.
If 2019 Zach Wilson made some of these same throws, I imagine he'd have a few more picks. Being healthy and having an extra year of training and growth (and sure, a soft-ish schedule) has really made a difference for him. Knowing what he is capable of makes our offense very fun to watch. Props to ZW and his surrounding cast for what they've accomplished so far.
