They did not kill us with speed. Frankly, the only reason why they threw for 300 yards was because of Tuiaki’s vanilla 10 yard cushion on receivers for the first 3 quarters. 4Q we blitzed and played man, and they couldn’t do jack on offense.

Just because Houston recruits kids from Texas did not mean they were faster than us. Just because BYU has a lot of white RMs does not mean we are overly “slow”.

There are some athletes on this team. We are 2nd in the nation averaging 7.8 yards per play for crying out loud.

I don’t want to hear anyone complaining in a few weeks once the Boise game rolls around that Boise’s speed will kill us. This team has shown that they are just as fast as anyone on our current, improvised schedule.
