Haven't had the DEs or DBs that could run it.
You run that system without the horses — & you get scored on a LOT.
It was a calculated risk against Houston that probably coulda gone very wrong (& I'm sure they feared that it might, particularly in Tonga's absence). But it's also a sure thing that they've deliberately kept this in their back pocket so far this season w hopes of surprising a team like Houston.
Man, it was fun to watch our D let loose like they did. We certainly won't see 4 quarters of that against Boise, but it's nice to know we'll be turning to it quite a bit this season.
I expect we'll see little of it against Texas St & W Kentucky, though.
