Just watched Nightmare on Elm street[84] with johny depp with my 16 y/o son
It wasnt the same as 30 years ago. Not scary or all that gory at all. For an R itwas pretty tame.
Son wasn't scared or impressed either. IT... the original tv series is the scariest movie he has watched.
Because of all of the other things he has seen on modern tv and movies..though no R's it was tame to him.
Im gonna have him watch thevothervslashers(jason ,Mochael..For jistoeocql context , then move to movies that are actually scary/suspenseful.

Any suggestions?

Horror/Suspense wasn't my thing,so i have no idea what the good ones are.
