The ideal spot for a QB to be drafted is mid 1st Rd
Because you're not Top 5 the franchise isn't asking you to carry the franchise on your shoulders immediately. And because you're drafted in the middle of the 1st Round the team you're going to isn't terrible. But because you are their 1st Rd pick they are heavily invested in you becoming their future franchise QB. Plus you get 1st Round money.
