Yesterday I smoked and dried some of the jalapeño and serrano chilis I grew in our garden, and today I ground them into chili powder in our kitchen using a little electric coffee grinder I use for grinding spices. There is so much airborne capcaisin throughout my house now that everyone on the downstairs level is sneezing, coughing or yelling at me. I just walked around handing out masks 😉
