Gabe Summers is 2nd on team in QB pressures this season...He had 5 against Houston and now has 9 on the season. He only has 2 tackles to date on the year and zero sacks but is starting to have an impact despite the lack of stats. It's cool to see guys buried on the depth chart rise up and start to shine, make a name for themselves.

Some other noteworthy items from PFF-
Dax Milne has converted almost as many 1st downs as the rest of the WR group combined. He has moved the chains 23 times to 26 for the rest. The guy is money and out of 34 catchable balls thrown his way this year he has caught 33. Better than Hall-to-Collie? Zach-to-Dax is pretty amazing and could be an all-time BYU great pass combo when it's all said and done.

In the Houston game George Udo played 22 coverage snaps and was only thrown at once. Talk about softening the blow losing a great player like Chaz Ah You. The sky's the limit for Udo as coaches are moving him all over the field...pass rush specialist...coverage...etc.

With the focus in the offense being on better pocket management, getting the ball out quicker and taking easy plays when available BYU has 5 players avging 7 YAC or better (Romney, Milne, Allgeier, Wake and Katoa) with the team avging 7.7 YAC. The previous 6 yrs we've avg'd less than 5 YAC collectively. Explains why every game looks like last year's Utah St game.
