I feel sympathetic for all the coaches and the other employees who this would effect.

I imagine that existing students would have their scholarships honored for the rest of their eligibility.

Intercollegiate sports that can't earn money to support themselves ought to be on a non-scholarship D2 or D3 model if there is not enough tax-payer support
