Into serious territory. But if Boise State comes in with a loss I think it takes all of the wind out of its sails. Or even if Boise State comes in undefeated but has no hype and no ranking or respect I think it takes the wind out of its sails.

It’s weird role reversal because we are now the highly ranked team with something at stake.

But I think the San Diego State game becomes even bigger at the end of the year if we go into it undefeated.

It’s a big game this Boise State game. But I don’t think it’s the biggest since 1984. And mostly because when I scour the top 25 and others receiving votes.... I can’t find Boise State anywhere! What happened to them? Apparently when we beat them they get buried in obscurity. Which is a dang shame it took us so long the beat them and they stole our thunder in the 2000s. What they did over the last 20 years should have been us. Because that’s that we had done the previous 20 years. So to me this game matters to right those wrongs. We should have never allowed Boise State to become what they did... because us beating them when we had chances could’ve buried them.
