As a football fan, I’m offended by the “politics” of playing fare. Play your
Best ball for 48 minutes.
If you want to be polite, play the second strings. But still play your best ball. And play to score.
This cordial waste of a half talk is total garbage. Especially if the refs want to check out and not call the obvious.
Just call the game early if that’s what it’s going to be.
