Do NFL cameramen regularly run onto the field for closeup shots? In 49ers/Pats
game the 9ers just scored from around the 1. The players are all pushing each other and unpiling and the video shows a cameraman running onto the field and running right up to the pile while the players are pushing. The live feed then switches to his camera and he is AMONG the players and refs....the camera is so tight that you're literally seeing only from the waist up because he is right in the middle of everybody.

Is this a new thing? I've never seen a actual shot of a camera man running onto the field and shooting video live.
