It will be a quality game or no game I think.
Why schedule a cupcake? What good does that do? The country knows what we do against that level of competition.
My question is what P5 conferences will allow a non-conference game and what teams haven't played their non-conference game and would benefit from playing a top 10 team, assuming BYU wins out.
Most likely scenario is a ranked G5 team wanting a crack at a top 10 team.
It will be interesting. It will probably come down to who needs a résumé builder.
I also wonder how far out the game needs to be scheduled.
It would be cool to save a weekend at the end of the year every year for every team to schedule a résumé building game if they wanted.
Fingers crossed Boise can beat Air Force and COVID doesn't postpone or cancel the BYU game against them, assuming BYU handles W. Kentucky.
