My daughter went to the BYU soccer camp two summers ago. She was named one of the camp all stars and at the end of the camp Coach Rockwood talked to her and my wife. She told her she was definitely a D1 player and to email her updates about her. She told her don't worry about being a pest, in fact she told her to be a pest. Keep sending her stuff.

So my daughter did. Emails. Highlights. Voice messages. Emails to the assistant coaches. The works. In return....nothing. Not one response. Not one returned email. No phone call. Not even saying, we're not interested. Just complete silence.

The weird thing is my daughter is a D1 player. She currently has 5 full ride offers to play soccer next season. One from a top 25 program. She's probably going sign with them on November 11th. But in over a year not one word from BYU. It's been a frustrating process.
