I know I have subscribed to the athletic, but I just married recently and had my first child, and then the athletic writers were annoying me on twitter with all their lefty slants on everything Covid-related. So I have now removed my credit card info from the site, so next year when renewal time is up I won't be renewing.

Having said that I do like their content and read it regularly about a variety of sports.

I would be on board with a support Gurney movement where I promise the Athletic to get a subscription if they hire him.

I guess we would need like 5000 people to join the movement to move the needle for the Athletic to make the decision. I am not sure we could get 5000 fans on board the movement.
