row. We've had some great wins in our 3rd P5 games in a row. Our biggest problem has been when playing 4 P5's before the end of September. That 4th game is when we've gotten crushed:
2019: Washington L 45-19
2018: @ Washington L 35-7
2017: Wisconsin L 40-6
2016: vs. West Virginia L 35-32
2015: @ Michigan L 31-0
Not only that, but when we play 4 P5's before the end of September, we have followed that 4th game with some real duds in early-October:
2019: Toledo and USF
2018: USU and N. Illinois
2017: the entire season
I couldn't disagree more with Jarom. But I do hope that we stop scheduling 4 P5's before the end of September. That approach has hurt us more than helped.
