It killed off two important games for BYU. If I were a betting man, I think the committee will frown on that greatly come late November. It's going to cut the B1G a little slack, but playing only 7-8 games vs a 10-12 game schedule is going to cut against their sense of fairness. The PAC is in even worse shape because its only playing six games plus 1 for playoff purposes. It has not been worthy of inclusion for years now. It's hard to argue that the PAC will be worthy even with an undefeated team (if an). That may be why properties owned by ESPN are getting more hype. Fox owned properties could be getting less hype for a lot of reasons.
