What’s your best personal sports memories as a participant. These make me happy
Anytime I’m having a bad day I recall these and feel better.

Eighth grade basketball. Our team comes out for a last second shot, we’re down one, and my teammate misses hard off the back rim and it bounces out towards half court. I catch up and throw the ball back over my head without looking at the rim. The horn sounds while the ball is in the air, and it rattled around and finally drops in. The fans in the stands mob me at half court.

Intramural football at Byu we are in the 2a division in the playoffs and I am on defense in a tie game in overtime. I get a jump on the snap and see the same option play they’ve done a few times setting up, so instead of going for the quarterback I go to where the pitch will be, intercept it and takeoff down the sideline with nothing but green grass in front of me. I can tell the quarterback is going to catch me before I make it to the touchdown so just as he reaches out for my flags I turn to the right and pitch the ball high in the air toward a teammate who is trailing the play. He takes it in and we win on an OT touchdown.

Intramural softball at BYU. I am the catcher and I hit a couple homeruns (I could always hit a softball for some reason.) We are up one with a runner on third, last inning. Joe Herrick, The old Byu kicker is our centerfielder. They hit a long fly ball deep in to centerfield and Herrick catches it. The runner at third takes off, and Herrick throws a rocket in perfect position and I catch the ball and tag the runner at home for the last out.

Great memories for my old age.
