I guess I don’t see us making a CFP this year, much less any normal year, so NY6 seems like a better target. A “Jaromized” schedule where we go undefeated seems like a pretty good shot in a normal year. I mean, is it all that much different than a G5 route? Sure it’s not guaranteed, but if we win out with a schedule that’s as good or better than most G5 schedules, I think we have a fighting chance. When they expand the playoff to 8 teams or we join a P5 conference, then CFP becomes more of a possibility to set out sights for.
