“Byu is actively looking to schedule more games. A game this week against a pac-12 opponent isn’t feasible. A pac-12 team has asked us to be their contingency plan for the week. Per pac-12 guidelines they can/must cancel a game up to Thursday night if another pac-12 team becomes available. Given the number of pac-12 games that have been canceled this is an extremely likely probability. Byu isn’t willing to keep its student athletes away from their families this holiday week to be the contingency plan for a team. If a quality team is serious about scheduling us with out contingencies we remain open to those opportunities.
