There isn’t some great conspiracy against BYU. UW isn’t sitting there thinking “how can we make BYU look bad”. Social media has a life of its own. UW has its own fan base to appease and tried to schedule BYU but they have their own conference rules that dictated the out clause. It’s dumb

1984 - does anyone really think the average UW fan cares? UW committed to Orange Bowl because it would be the first time a PAC10 team had ever played in the bowl. Does the average person really think UW was scared to schedule BYU but was willing to schedule Oklahoma, The best team of the decade? Which bowl you were invited to ruled back then and the orange bowl gave more exposure than the holiday bowl. BYU might not have won the national title if UW doesn’t beat Oklahoma in that game.

1985. BYU beat UW handily. Great. Completely different teams from 1984. Just like 1985 when UW beat BYU handily. Completely different teams. Great wins for each program.

UW has been a great scheduling partner with BYU. I think BYU has only played UCLA more in the conference. Maybe not burn that bridge as an independent. I’m sure behind the scenes TH and Jen Cohen are fine.

Overall most fans and ADs think highly of BYU’s football program. Quit acting like everyone is out to get BYU. It’s childish.

All teams have idiotic fans. They are drunk and over zealous most of the time. Why we feel the need to judge a school based on a bad experience is odd. BYU shouldn’t be judged in that manner either.
